Big Daddy Weave, Jason Gray, Citizen Way and Lauren Daigle!  We got VIP tickets mostly for the seating they come with but Wow!  The VIP session was so good.  A group of humble, thankful musicians!  Just so down to Earth!
Then came to the VIP session and the artists sat right with us and hadn't even gotten ready for the concert.  I reminded Jason Gray of our previous meeting and told him I didn't get to ask him about the motivation behind, It's Good To Be Alive.  I wish I could I repeat word for word what he said.  He didn't write the song but had strong feelings about it.  He talked about watching his children play and how the joy that brings him is joyful to God and it actually is like worshiping God.  Soaking in God's gifts to you every minute is worship and brings God happiness.  Toward the end of what he was saying he said even drinking a good cup of coffee and enjoy it can honor God.  " Do you know what I mean" he asked.  Oh yes I said.  I know exactly what you mean.  I did not do justice to what he said.  Makes me love that song even more!!!

The big daddy of Big Daddy Weave.
After the VIP I went to look at shirts and look what I found.  I bracelet with this on it.  I bought it and a shirt.
Here we go! Big Daddy Weave!  They "weaved" all the artists together in this concert.  It wasn't just one at a time.  These musicians had one mission, to spread the word of God!  It was so clear from the very beginning. It was not about them.  Not a bit!  They were using their gifts to be disciples!

 Love that smile!

Lauren, I was not familiar with her music but she had a powerful voice!  See the head in the picture???  You will see it a lot.  This man was a couple rows in front of me and never sat down.  I tried to work around him as much as possible.

 Citizen Way!

During the VIP session this young girl shared her story.  Religion wasn't her thing.  Actually, one of the artists said, GOOD!  This is not about religion.  Anyway, she shared that she finally gave into someone who had been asking her to come to church for a long time.  It was Easter Sunday and she gave herself to God that very day!  Just last Easter.  She was brought on stage during the concert so that we could celebrate her decision with her.
 Scripture reading!

First song Jason Gray sang was...It's Good to be Alive! Lots of Jason Gray pictures I know.  I kind of like him. Even Mike said he really has an anointing for sharing stories of faith, stories of being a human.  He is funny too.

We had a short break and then all the artists were together on stage!  Amazing!  They played together but took turns singing.

Ballads! So moving!  We all sang the songs throughout most of the concert and it was more than amazing.  There are a lot of concerts out there.  Christian concerts have an added extra.  The Holy Spirit filled the room and you could feel it, the power, the love, the community!

At the end of the concert all the artists stood on the edge of the stage.  The director of the show (I think that is who it was) prayed over us for at least 15 minutes.  All the artists had their hands raised up over us.  It was so, so something I can't explain.  He asked God to remove our doubt, anxiety, stress, and so much more.  It was a moment to remember!
One last Jason Gray.  Signing and taking pictures afterwards.
Big Daddy Weave said he would be there after the concert to give anyone that wanted it a big 0' Big Daddy hug.  I took advantage of that.  Then a picture!

Hear Me Run and The Spring Dash!

Whew!  Lots of EAOD activities the last two weeks.  So, so wonderful to have such good friends to do all of this with!  This event benefited the Hope School for the deaf.  It was along the Spokane River.  Every single time we do these events I feel privileged to live in such a beautiful city!

Bonnie joined us.  She had knee replacement a couple of months ago.  I picked her brain since I will be there in 6 weeks or so.  So good to see her again!!!
Ah yes! Here we are getting ready to start!
Drew and Melanie were at the race too!
Getting ready to go.  Beautiful blue sky!
 Cute!
I told you... Spokane is the best city ever for everything!

 Can't top this view!

My buddies are ahead of me but I will catch up!
Freida cropped herself out of this picture for good reason!
After we were finished we saw Kailey getting her face painted.  She is the reason we did this event!
 The family!
I would explain this picture but you really had to be there.  I laughed so hard I couldn't drive!  It survived and so did I! Sometimes you just have to have the experience to understand!
Sunday and we are in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.  35 minute drive from Spokane! Just as beautiful as Spokane and the weather was much better this year!  Last year rain, this year 70 degrees!  Another gray shirt.  3 out of the 4 shirts we got this weekend were gray.  This one is colorful!

This is a painting on a building!  So very cool.
Michelle should not be kissing random, strange men! Especially orange ones!

Here we go.  5 scenic miles!

This one is for you Deanna.  Do you think we will ever forget your ambulance ride?  Not likely!
Blurry but unique!  I bet she was glad it wasn't windy.  No wind resistance.
We usually pose by this but we were on a mission to finish!
Another one that is a bit blurry but that tree is beautiful!
Wanted to take a picture with the lake behind me!
Back to the town and we are finished until Bloomsday!   Bloomsday is two weeks away.  It has been a great couple of weeks.  Spring break walks and bike rides and 4 events.  I love my friends.  They make my days happier.  Except...
when they eat this stuff in front of me!  Cinnamon roll.
 Peanut butter and chocolate!
Some kind of berry bar!   Just kidding!  I can handle it!
