Christmas 2014

                                                   AMEN!

The Kilgores invited us to their Christmas Eve celebration.  The Kilgores are Kristin's in-laws.  It was so much fun.  Great friends, lots of children and yummy, yummy food.  Not to mention the ugly sweater exchange.  Julie has decorated her house beautifully.

Justin and Mike probably talking about hunting.
Jason, Jeff and Mike manning the kitchen!
Justin is checking things out making sure everyone is doing things correctly!
Katie and Brande!
I love this picture of Layne and her dad Justin!
Jason's son Steven with his girlfriend! We had lots of time to relax and visit.  Loved it!
Notice Mike is almost always supervising the kitchen activity.

Our hosts Jeff and Julie with a photo bomb!
Cutest little guy ever.  Fletcher!
Fletcher took this picture.  I deleted the other ones he took for good reason.
TADA! Lucy has arrived.  She had been sick and took a long nap before she arrived.
Sisters talking about something very important and shocking by the look on Katie's face.
Jason and Mike, probably hunting talk again.
Time to color paper plates.

Dinner is over and it is time for the gift exchange.  First is the pajama exchange between the kids.

Waiting for his jammies.
Fletcher is opening his!  Love the tie on Fletcher!
Finally!
Lucy has hers!  All the kids ran off to put on the pajamas.
Now it is time for the adult exchange.  We all drew names on Thanksgiving.  Whoever ended up with the ugliest sweater was the winner and there was a prize.
Nice!
That is not an ugly sweater!  Someone would love to wear it.
These two should not be left alone.  I know they were up to something.
I had Jad's name.  This is the sweater I got him.  Cute on him don't you think?

David's sweater is great!  He will not win the prize. We all had to put our sweaters on!
Now this is ugly!
Ugly for a man but not really a winner.

Again not ugly in the traditional ugly sweater way.
Pine cones everywhere on Julie's.
Now we are getting to the ugly.  Jeff has a bird on his shoulder and notice the carrot nose on the snowman on Mike's!
Katie got a Kilgore family heirloom.  Nice hat and croqueted skirt.
The 3 musketeers or the the 3 amigos.  Or the 3 ugliest sweaters.
Lots and lots of pine cones.  Katie sports that hat nicely!
Group picture!

We took a vote and guess who won!  Mr. Mike Gleason!!!!  Landslide!  I think it was the garland of tinsel that pushed it over the edge!
He got a nice gift pack of different things.  Soups, the hat, a flask and more.  Yes, he did wear the hat to our Christmas Eve service.
Here are the precious kids in their new pajamas.  It was a perfect night and we are so thankful to be included!  Off to church for us to usher at a candlelight Christmas Eve service.
Christmas morning is here!  A few pictures of our house decorations.

Two socks were too heavy to hang after they were full!

This picture was in the newspaper when I was a child.  Santa and little Jackie Kaminski.
Funniest stocking stuffer ever.  I laughed and laughed.  I just had to get it!  Katie and Mike were both blessed with this little gift.

Thank you Doolittles.  Mike loved the card.  He thought it was hysterical.
You can never go wrong with a Cabela's gift card.
Can you guess who got this gift?
Always have to have some Seahawks gifts.
Mike was pretty proud of his wrapping of my gift.  Wanna know what was inside?  Diamond earrings.  Beautiful.
Then the family tradition.  A small breakfast.  Scrabbled eggs and cinnamon rolls.
We had a nice quiet Christmas with Katie.  It was wonderful.  We gave thanks to God for sending his Son to save us.  For unto us a Child is born!  Thank you God.
