Bluebird Day January 2019

Days like these are why I love to ski.  Beautiful, great snow and good company.

Spokane was fogged in but we weren't.  We were above the fog.

Corduroy! Best sound ever under the skis!

Traded ski pictures with Kristin, Justin, Layne and Lucy.  We were all above the fog in the sunshine doing the best winter activity ever!!!

It's Game Time for the New Orleans Saints! Who Dat!!!!

We have arrived at our seats.  First row on the 45 yard line.  Special.  We have only been to one other playoff game.  The Saints played the Bears in Chicago.  It was cold, the Chicago fans weren't nice and we sat far, far away from the field.  Not to mention the Saints lost.  Being at a playoff game at the Superdome was a very different experience. The Saints fans love their team!!

 Thomas Morstead the kicker!
A player was injured and most of the players took a knee.

Thomas Morstead was a great cheerleader, getting the crowd going!

 This has to hurt.
 Drew Brees!

 Touchdown Saints!!!
A favorite video!  Toward the end of the video a player was getting the fans going with The Who Dat Chant!

These shirts are Team Gleason shirts.  The rebirth refers to Steve's blocked punt.  These are band members that played at halftime.

 Lots of umbrellas!
It was the mission of the Saints fans to make so much noise that Philadelphia players couldn't function.  It worked.  At the end of the video you see a yellow flag off to the left of the picture.

 Rivers favorite!

This was after an interception.  The players all go down to one corner and greet fans or do something.  Not sure what they do!
Lots of noise for sure!!

Gray slept though most of the game!
Saints win and the crowd goes wild.  It was a very exciting moment for sure.
Game over and back on the field for some more fun for Rivers and we just happened to meet some more players!

Malcolm Jenkins!  He played for the the Eagles.  He has a great smile.  Joyful.

Deuce McCallister.  He played with Steve.
 AHHH! Love!
Michael Bennett former Seahawk now an Eagle.  Even though it was after he lost he was very friendly.
Chris Long had some beautiful things to say to Steve and especially to Michel.
Oh what a trip.  The miracle of a new baby girl named Gray.  When I hold a baby I feel the goodness of God.  I could so feel that holding little Gray. I think Grandpa Mike could feel it too.
So precious, such a gift.  Every second we can spend with Steve, Michel, Rivers and Gray is priceless. I am typing this and feeling the goodness of God flow though me.  It feels good, so good.  He is so good and cares about every little thing in our lives.  We have been blessed with 5 special children, son-in laws, daughter-in-laws and 8 grandchildren.  We love spending time with all of them.  We love you all!  I love you Jesus and thank you for all the blessings we call family.
Good night New Orleans, until next time!
