Christmas 2023 Celebrating the Birth of the King

Thank you God for sending your Son to the Earth.  Sending Him to be our Savior to take on our sin and give us eternal life.

We had a great Christmas.  Nice and relaxing with Katie and Chris.  Mike got his very practical presents.  He likes those type of presents.
So did I! Socks and a winter pass to park at state parks.
We went out to breakfast with Katie and Chris.  Chris' dog allergies showed up right away so off we went.  It was a nice breakfast and time to spend time together.  Presents were opened outside. So happy we got to spend time with them at Christmas.

More opening happening.

We always get thank you pictures from the grandkids.  Ryland's new pants.
Eason and golf balls.
Mike has several poses to try with his new Montana sweatshirt.

He looks like he might explode here!

This is a favorite!!!  Mighty Mike.
My new Mudhens jacket. Lucy's softball team.
This is the worlds longest snow scraper for the car!
Layne and her new retro camera.  It's a digital camera. Not sure that is retro but she thinks it is.  Retro for her but not for the older generations.
Lucy and her bedding.
Justin and his backpack.  Insulated.  Kristin's gift was similar to Justin's.

Christmas Eve 2023

Always a special night at the Kilgore's for Christmas Eve!  Katie and Chris showed up to the party this year.  So good to have a couple of daughters to celebrate with.  We need Keri and family to join us.
Beauties!
Justin and Kristin!
I wonder what they are talking about or laughing about.

Mike and Chris chatting away!
It used to be all the cousins were running around laughing and messing around. They are growing up and they were playing a game with each other on their phones.

Beautiful set up.  Thanks Julie!

Look up!!!!
All Jeff and Julie's grandchildren with their matching pajamas.
Cousins.

Layne, Jackie, Mike
Maybe our Christmas photo for next year!
Trying to get this family group together to get a good picture can be challenging.
LUCY!
Not bad!   We did it.

Another special evening with family and friends.  We always appreciate being adopted into the Kilgore family at Christmas Eve.  We ended the evening with a bingo game for all with prizes to be won!

Life Group Christmas Party

Mike and I each facilitate a life group at Liberty Remnant Church.  We decided to combined our two groups for a Christmas celebration.  Dinner, singing Christmas songs and a fun gift exchange.  A fabulous group of people that love the Lord.  People tend to congregate in the kitchen before the food happens.  Truth.
Marlene and Diane
Tom too.

Some people don't like their picture taken. I did it anyway.  Lindsay and Jimmy.
The group.
We sang several Christmas songs.  Dave lead us in a few after my list was over.  It a was beautiful moment.
The gift exchange was fun as usual.  Stealing presents in a good way.
Sara, Scott and Tom
Murphy needed to be part of the party.
A lost battery.  A teeny, tiny battery!
It was found in Jimmy's shoe.
This was so good for me.  I bought this ornament in New York at Thanksgiving 2022.  It represents the angels that line the way at Rockefeller Square.  It was supposed to light up but Mike and I couldn't make it happen.  I mentioned the fact that it didn't light up and Dan and Neilene started working on it.  It's pretty just like this.
Dan fixed it!  It changes colors.  I am not sure what was wrong.  Something about a lightbulb being in the wrong position.
It's beautiful now and I like it even more.  Thanks for fixing it. It was a wonderful evening celebrating Christmas with great friends!!!
