Lucy Halloween and Softball

Papa Smurf aka Lucy.  That blue face paint was purchased on the way back from Lucy's dentist appoint on Halloween.  Just in the nick of time.  How fun! Friends and Halloween.

Changing gears.  Lucy had a softball tournament in Arizona.  I was sent a couple of pictures.  This is the field of dreams.

Layne Big Sky Conference Cross Country Meet

Mike and I didn't travel to Montana to watch Layne run but her parents and her sister made the trip.  We watched closely online.  We couldn't see a video but we did see her finish time right when she was done. Kristin told me that Layne was really sick.  Running 3+ miles being sick, really sick.  Not fun!!!! She did it.  

Not only was Layne sick look at this weather!  This is the start line.  They plowed it!

BRRRRR!

And she finished.  She wasn't thrilled with her time but considering being sick and fighting the weather she did so good.  

The fabulous thing was she qualified for the regional cross country meet in Texas!!! Even with all she was going through.  Congratulations to Layne!!!!!!!
