Layne and Lucy Summer 2019

I had the privilege of hanging out with these two beautiful girls a couple of times before school started. The joy of being retired.  Kristin was at teacher meetings.  This is their first day of school picture.  Layne is in 9th grade and Lucy is in 5th grade.
Day one we took a hike.  Sheila left her car on Government Way and then I drove to the Bowl and Pitcher.  We hiked back to Sheila's car.

The road less traveled!

Sheila and I both thought we were in pretty good shape.  Well, not compared to a 14 year old who does cross country and a 10 year old who loves soccer and softball.

Gotta love reflection pictures!

We are almost done.  Fun!!!!
Round two another day was painting.  We went to Polka Dot Pottery.  I couldn't find anything to paint so I just watched the girls paint a whale and a llama.  They did a great job.
Lots of concentration!

These look good now but looked great after they were fired!

Love these two granddaughters.  Spending time with them is precious.  Such wonderful kids!  Proud of them and the parents who are raising them!!!
