Family! A beautiful gift from God. Thank you God for how you have blessed our family over the years. Watching our children grow into loving adults as they build their own families. Watching our grandchildren taking steps one by one into a full life. We are blessed and we don't take it for granted. Thanks for sharing your days with us Keri, Mark, Ryland and Easton.
The man Mike in his element! Beautiful country, fresh clean air and wildlife!
Bentley is a great family dog. Easton and Bentley hanging out.
Mike found his spot on the couch. Home sweet home!
Mark and Easton working on math homework.
One of God's many masterpieces!
This was fun to watch. Mike just had to get some exercise. Keri introduced him to the Peloton bike. Keri set the timer for 30 minutes on my suggestion. I can't remember Mike's instructor's name but at first Mike didn't like him. By the end he thought the instructor was AOK.
Mike made it through the whole 30 minutes. Great job Mike. No more exercise for him on this trip.
Ryland had a busy weekend. Saturday and Sunday he had drivers ed that lasted several hours each day. Friday night was the homecoming game and Saturday night was the homecoming dance. High school life. Pictures of homecoming will be in another post.
Bentley likes to just sit and watch! He has a little stalker in him.
Mike has eagle eyes when it comes to spotting a deer. He saw one feeding in these trees. He headed out to get a closer look.
He snapped a couple of pictures before the mama deer and her babies took off.
Mike and I don't golf but we were all for hanging out on the golf course with Keri and Mark. There was a wager on this game. Whoever lost had to build the 12 foot skeleton. Mark ended up with that duty just barely.
A deer walked right in front of us on the fairway. I didn't get the picture fast enough. Just got the deer going down the little incline.
The stalker dog.
Mike loves the kitchen, thankfully. Getting ready for our last night and a steak dinner with the family. Ryland was at his homecoming dance. He missed the steak dinner.
Bentley got to share in the joy of the steak.
Until next time. I asked Keri if she wanted to to the Colder Bolder Race in December. I thought it would be an adventure. She didn't think it would be an adventure at all. Just got a no! She doesn't like winter or anything cold. HMMM. Not sure where that came from.
Thanks again for having us. Praying for God's protection and blessings to cover you all. See you next time! Probably in May for Bolder Boulder!
