Last Day in Colorado May 20, 19

My birthday dinner at Casa Bonita!  Keri said you have to make reservations a few months ahead of time. She did it. This was a very unique place.  Great place for a birthday adventure.  It was much more than just a dinner.
The whole group!
My birthday dessert.

Ok, Mike and I had no idea who or what this was.  Manbearpig from South Park which we have never watched.  The creators of South Park own this restaurant.  Apparently, this creature doesn't appear in the restaurant often and never lets you take a picture.  When Keri said it was my birthday I got a picture.

The crew!!  Keri got mini sombreros for all of us to wear.
The inside was huge with lots of things going on.  We spent the next hour exploring.
My favorite a dark scary cave.
There was even cliff divers!  Oh, and so much more! It was an adventure.

It was a birthday celebration like none other.  We headed to airport right after this.  Family time is precious and it was truly a gift to be with family and watch Ryland graduate!  What a weekend!!!

Easton Golfing Day 2 May 17, 2025

Grandpa Mike and I were really excited to see Easton golf.  So glad he had a tournament on Saturday.  Good timing.  Both of us were impressed by the skill level Easton showed us.  Pretty sure Grandpa Mike was still talking about how good Easton golfed the rest of the day.  Its tee time!!!

I took a lot of pictures as we followed Easton!

Unique environment!  We got to hear the cows mooing while we watched Easton.
The cheering section.  You can't actually cheer until the end of each hole.  Golf etiquette you know. We all watched in silence until each hole was completed.

Thanks for letting us know.
When I first took this picture I thought the coyote was real.  Then I noticed it didn't move.  Not real. Fooled me for a minute.

Grandpa Mike and I stayed for the first 9 holes.  The weather was turning and Mike just had surgery on his eye so his eye was getting sore.  Nothing serious, cataract removed.

Easton was on the 18th hole when there was a delay because of lightening.  Unfortunately, his group had to wait it out.  They were almost done when the delay was called.

The tournament was over and it was pizza time!  Make your own!  Mark cooked each one separately in the pizza oven! Yum! Here we are creating.

Creating and then eating our creations!

The time had come.  We all got our Wisconsin gear on for the group picture. Thank you Keri and Mark for buying us all gear to represent where Ryland is off to college.
We all made the Wisconsin W.  We had to practice doing the W before the picture to get it right.
What a day!  Golf, food and family. Thanks to the Doolittles for hosting us and creating a great memory. Graduation is next!

Ryland's Graduation Weekend May 16, 2025

Friday, day one in Colorado. We arrived in the morning and as usual Keri was so gracious to pick us up from the airport.  We arrived to a Ryland display.  Keri had a great experience planned for us.

Keri gave us a tour of the mini garden she built.  Yes, she created the whole thing.

A pickle ball tournament was scheduled for Monday so we were taken to the courts to practice.  I hadn't ever tried pickle ball. It's a fun game and I would love to play again.  The experts had to take it easy on us.

It was a fun test of our pickle ball talents and the weather was fabulous.  I have some work to do when it comes to pickle ball.  So good to be with the family.
Ryland and Easton are just a tad competitive.  I am not sure how they scored this and I don't know who won but it was fun to watch the two of them battle it out.  Easton had a broken finger and still managed to play.

2025 grad! Ryland
The favorite aunt as she calls herself has arrived, Katie.
Part of the Ryland display was a variety of pictures of him over time. Don't you just love the middle one??

Love this picture.  Not often we get a picture together.  Off to Saturday!
