The Wednesday Bus Ride into Denali National Park Again!

I remember pictures of the Transit Bus ride we took in 2011. Lots of pictures of bears, elk, and moose.  This ride wasn't like that at all.  There was a landslide on the road to Denali so we couldn't go as far into the park on this ride.  Not many animals.

There was beautiful scenery. 

This is the Transit Bus.  We took a quick break.

The public could only drive into the park for 15 miles.  We stopped at the 15 mile mark and checked out the scenery.  The busses could go farther and we did.  We didn't go far enough to see the landslide but we did see workers on their way to fix things. Mike had some question for the bus driver. 

This is an arctic ground squirrel.  This squirrel was digging away.  Not sure where it was going. 

This is evidence of Mike not following the rules. Do not feed the animals.  That is Mike's apple the arctic ground squirrel was eating.
