Pickle Ball and Top Golf Monday May 19, 2025

Keri organized a pickle ball tournament.  It was fun even though I had no pickle ball skills.  We rotated partners so we could play with the experts once in awhile.  There were no prizes and no winners announced but we all knew who knew how to play pickle ball.  It was a fun time.  I look forward to playing more in the future.

Group photo and we are all smiling.

Now the graduation party.  It was at Top Golf. We got to see Ryland's friends hang out with him, try golf and eat.  What a great group of young men.  Brothers, Ryland and Easton.
Yum!
2 out of three daughters. Keri and Katie.

Love this picture!!!

Here they are again.  Katie and Keri.
The food was great!
Not sure what is happening here!

Keri and Ryland.  A weekend of celebrating Ryland and all he has accomplished, which is a lot. We know he will thrive in the future and we look forward to watching that happen. Grandpa Mike and I were so glad we got to be there to celebrate with the family and Ryland.

Friday Baseball with Easton

Batter up! Easton is in the game playing right field.  It was a cold, windy evening but we bundled up!
Alert and ready to make a play.

So exciting to watch Easton play my favorite sport.
Easton took some great swings!

He eventually walked!  On base! As he was leading off first base he had to take a dive back so he would not get picked off.  He made it back.
Off he goes stealing second!

Cat and mouse, will he run again and make it to 3rd.

Here comes a throw down to second base and Easton made it back!

I think there was a hit that got him to third.  Not sure.
Headed for home!

Easton scores
Easton's team was playing so good and they were ahead in the game.
Then it happened.  Easton was on deck and ready to bat again and a lightening warning came.  We all headed to safety.  For us it was the car.  We waited and waited.  The game was eventually called.  So
glad I got to see Easton in action even if it wasn't a full game.  Great job Easton.
After game meal at home! The storm eventually came with full force.  Good time, very good time watching Easton.

Colorado Rockies Baseball

Never, ever would I turn down a chance to go to a baseball game.  Let's do this. I love watching baseball and I love the atmosphere at a game.  A beautiful day perfect for a game.
Keri Leanne and the mom!
Pretty good seats, although we could have moved almost anywhere.  It wasn't that crowded.  All these kids were after balls or autographs.

Rockies and the San Diego Padres!
AHHH the Star- Spangled Banner!
Tatis JR of the Padres!
We moved up a bit higher so we could see better.

You know how music plays or the announcer asks the crowd to do something?  Well, Gangnam style started and with a little coaching from Keri we both got going.  Next thing we knew we were on the Jumbotron!!!  Yes, we were.  That was the excitement for the game.  Keri warned me that people would notice and we would be recognized. Of course we would.  There was even talk about getting out of the stadium safely.  Well, it happened.  One man came up to us and asked it we were the ones on the Jumbotron.  Yes, that was us.  So it began.  It ended there too but we have fun with it for sure.

Tatis Jr. again!  He played right field.

Healthy food.
Home run Rockies!!!!!

The weather got sort of sketchy and we wanted to beat the crowd.  The Rockies were behind when we left but they won the game.  Yippee!!!  One of the many highlights was the Jumbotron.  We nailed it!!!
