Rogue One, Soccer, Cookies and a Party

Rogue One-Star Wars!  Movie time in Dallas.  Do we look like we could be in the Star Wars movie?

Fancy theater!  Food and drinks and comfy chairs!
The movie was good but not as good as the last one.  What was good was spending time with the Dootlittles! Off to soccer a game for Ryland.  The facility was huge with lots of game/practices going on.  Multiple sports!

Ryland is ready to go!
It's kind of tough taking pictures of a moving Ryland through the glass  but I tried.

He played goalie for a short time.
This sort of sums up his activity at goalie.  Not much action.
Once in a while he was on alert because it looked like the ball was coming his way.  It never made it to him.

Now it is really hard to take pictures of blinking lights.  After the game we went to a shopping area close by.  There was music playing and the lights blinked off and on to the music that was playing.  More Christmas fun!  Loved it!

Woke up the next morning and Chippie had an issue.  Poor little elf!

Oh yes, the traditional frosted Christmas cookies.  Rolled, cut out, baked and frosted!

Yum!!!  There was a little unofficial competition of who was the best decorator.  I might have started that.  Mark was almost 100% figuring out who decorated which cookie.  Now those are some serious skills.
Keri hosted a neighborhood gift exchange for the kids in the neighborhood.

Ryland and Easton had their own tree!
 Present time!

Another great trip to see the Doolittles!  Thanks for the memories.  See you soon!

A Texas Visit to the Arboretum 12 Days of Christmas

So, so good!  This is only part of our day on Saturday.  We visited the Arboretum and got to find the 12 days of Christmas.  Before we got there Keri quizzed us on the song to see if we could get them all.  I wanted to put this in a post all by itself because it was so beautiful and so much fun.  Each day had Christmas music playing.  I felt like I was in Christmas heaven.  Here we go! Enjoy, I know I did! Too bad I can't add some Christmas music in this post.  I probably could but not sure how.  Hum to yourself.  Spectacular!

How did we end this tour?  Well, with a reindeer, a Christmas tree and Santa.  Perfect
