Thanksgiving 2020

I was pretty excited for this Thanksgiving. The Lathrops joined us.  A family Thanksgiving is the best!!!
Chef Gleason at work getting the turkey ready. Can you tell he is in his happy place?
A masterpiece!
And here they are!!!  Lucy on the left and Layne on the right.  Love these girls and I am so proud of them.  They have great parents for sure!
Lucy loves animals!

The Thanksgiving feast!

There was a little competition around who had the most food on their plate.  The real competition should have been who could actually eat all the food on their plate.

Lucy was right up there with Mike and Justin as far as the quantity on her plate.
Such a great picture and I am glad Justin didn't tilt that plate too much!
Lots of laughter and fun and thankfulness here!
Game time.  Mike cheated last time we played this game.  Hard to believe but he did.  He told me later he looked in our mirror to see what he was on the card on his head.  Naughty.  Needless to say we kept a close eye on him.
Next game, Apples to Apples.  It is so fun to play games together!  No TV, no football games just laughter and togetherness. It was a night to remember.  We all go so busy it is nice to slow down and enjoy each other.  It was a beautiful evening and I couldn't be more proud of this family.

Thanksgiving 2014

One of my favorite pictures from Thanksgiving and it is blurry.  Darn.  Brande and Kristin.
 Sorority pose!
What a great day.  We felt blessed to be included this Thanksgiving.  Lots of good food, laughter, children, friends and family.  We spent the day at Brande and David's house.
Not sure what that look is for.
 Gracie is so grown up!
 So is Saylor
 Beautiful set up for dinner!

She could hardly reach over the bowl to get the goodies but she did it.

 Football watching!

 Time for dinner!

While the kids waited for the adults to dish up this question was asked.  If you could give anything to anybody what would it be?  Great answers.

I took a tiny bite of food before everyone was seated and I was caught!
We all went around the table and said what we were thankful for.  Kristin and I had tears.

Another great picture that is blurry.

Not sure these two should be left alone for very long.
The adults all drew names for Christmas ugly sweater gifts and the kids drew names for the pajama swap.  Happy Thanksgiving.
