It's All About the Shirts and They Ran Out! Spring Dash 2016

Well, that was disappointing.  They ran out of shirts in many of the sizes.  Why?  Probably because they gave them to people who registered yesterday.  Only speculation on my part.  They are going to call us when they get more printed up!

Oh what a beautiful morning! What a great day for the Spring Dash.  We have done it in snow, rain, and now this! Fabulous!
As always Coeur d Alene is a sight to be seen.  The lake,  the blue skies, the trees starting to break out with leaves!

The route was a bit different but personally I liked it the best.
Lots more people this year.  I did not know this race has been going on almost as long as Bloomsday.  I thought we discovered it in it's infancy, not so!
 Freida, Jamie, Sheila and Michelle.
Add Jackie and take out Jamie.
I think there are plants and patio furniture on the top of this building.  Fancy!
 Here we go! Blast off.

First male to pass us going the other direction.
Second male! Not sure if they finished one and two.  There were a couple of miles left.
And just in case you want to paddle board!
 First woman!
 Our friend Freida!

Sheila and Jamie were a bit ahead of us.  This was the turn around.
All I have to say is AHHHH!  We live in a beautiful place.

The home stretch.  5 miles complete!
We went out to lunch at our favorite place but no food pictures.  I was too busy eating!

Negative Split Spokane 2016

And here we go again.  The Negative Split Spokane 2016.  The idea is do the 2nd have faster than the first half.  Pretty sure I always do that because I start slow and gain speed.  This is part of the crew that did the race!
I wasn't in the mood to lug my camera with me so these are cell phone pictures.   Pretty good.  Spokane!

OK, bagpipes are awesome.  Bagpipes and dancers even better.
We were celebrating victory before we even started.  The finish line!

We talking about missing church and look what we saw!  A cross.   Not sure that counts for going to church though.
Great landing spot.  Love, love the scenery where I live!
 The Spokane River!

 Practicing taking the selfie!
 With Sheila!
We thought this was the finish line at first.  Wow, that came up fast! NOT.  2 plus miles left!
Another fun time with friends in a beautiful city filled with the beauty that God created.  6.2 miles done!
