It was hot! It was smoky from the fires! We didn't care, it's baseball! Look! A Dodger fan!
It was kids night and Otto's birthday so there was a lot going on. I love baseball!A band made up of kids!
The van has arrived!
I had to take a picture of the Cubs hat! Big fans the Gleasons are!
We are missing Kyle in this picture. He is parking the van. It is really difficult to come up with words to describe what spending this type of family time with Steve, Michel and Rivers means so I won't try. Just know it is a big deal. A really big deal.
Pretty sure this snowman shouldn't be out in the heat. That costume had to be painfully hot. It was in the mid 90's.
This is precious. This is Rivers during the National Anthem! Hat over his heart!
And here we are in the sun, smoke and heat!
Tony came by to say HI!
Steve, Mike and Tony! Great men for sure, everyone of them!
Kyle and Dillon in this picture!
It was Otto, the mascot's, birthday and every mascot from Spokane seemed to be at the stadium to celebrate! Not sure about the panda! Who has a panda for a mascot in Spokane! Panda Express the food place? I don't think so!
Grandpa Mike and Rivers!
There was some dancing going on in-between innings. Small ballparks are awesome! So many fun things going on all during the game.
Looks Dad I got a bat!
A ball too! We talked to a couple of players before the game and they said if a foul ball got out to the bench they would give it to Rivers. That didn't happen but the gift shop supplied one for him.
Cute! The Ken Griffey style of wearing a hat.
Otto came and gave us a personal visit!
We had to stay to sing Take Me Out to the Ballgame. It's a rule. It was time for everyone to head out so we left with them. Mike and I never have matching shirts so I thought a picture needed to be taken. It might never happen again. I was sporting my Dodger shoes and hat too just so you know.
We know these time are precious! We are thankful that we can spend time with Steve, Michel and Rivers on our own turf!
I got a demonstration of Rivers catching ability. The Spokane Indians ball was his "special" ball so he didn't want to drop it and get it dirty. Only two demonstrations!
Even though it was really hot and smoky it was a priceless couple of hours. Looking forward to doing it again next year! God willing!
