What a gorgeous day for a walk in Spokane! The leaves on the trees were beginning to change. There was a bit of crispness in the air. These two ladies are the best. They inspire me! Jackie, Bonnie and Peggy!
We were on a mission to get pictures with the mascots that were there. Eastern Washington Eagles!
Otto, the Spokane Indians Baseball team mascot.
And here we go!
The course wove through Riverfront Park.
The is a reflection of the clock tower in the park. Cool picture!
This is the actual clock tower reflected in the Spokane River!
God's handiwork was on display for sure.
A break from the race perhaps. Kids sliding down the giant red wagon.
The garbage goat! Yes, it eats trash. Just push the button and it will eat your trash.
The river was lower but still beautiful!
Thank you Lord for creating all this for us to enjoy!
AHHH! So, so beautiful.
We had cheers all along the way!
The finish.
Our reward at the end! Waffles!
This was fun and an event I look forward to doing again. It's always a good time being with Bonnie and Peggy! This race raised money for behavioral health in our community. A great event for a great cause.
