Yahoo! Christmas in Seattle with Katie! Life is good! We drove over to Seattle and the pass conditions were not perfect but with a 4 wheel drive car we made it safe and sound. We picked up keys to Katie's apartment at Brooks where she works. We got to see her in action. Her apartment was just a hop, skip and jump away from Brooks. It didn't seem that way for this Spokane driver in Seattle. Mike was driving so I tried to sit back and relax. Well, maybe not relax.

Christmas on Friday and we got to meet Nate! Some routines don't change even at a different house.

Nate arrived and we started opening presents. I didn't want to bug him with pictures. He isn't used to my camera snapping all the time. I will break him in slowly.
Katie even made the traditional cinnamon rolls on her new cookie sheet.

We decided to get out of the house and go see the gingerbread display. Mike and I saw the same display years ago. This display wasn't the same. Not as big but the few displays of gingerbread creations we good.
We went out to eat Friday night and watched some football. Short and sweet was this visit. Getting to celebrate with Katie and Nate felt just right. Back to Spokane early Saturday morning for a wedding Saturday night.
