Colorado Golf and Rocks Before the Bolder Boulder 10K

This was not my first Bolder Boulder race but it was the first one with all the Doolittle family.  The Doolittle's have a new family member! Bentley, what a great dog and boy did I get a welcome from Bentley.
Bentley!  He loves new people.  Click on the video to watch.
Saturday was golf tournament day for Ryland and Easton.  Bentley had to go for a walk before we left. Off we go!

A boy and his dog!

Bentley has an interesting landing when going after a toy.
And he will play all by himself with a bat.
Off we go to the golf tournament.  We got a great view of Pike's Peak on the way.

Ryland had already started when we got there.  This was very official.  Easton had to check in and his name was announced when he started the tournament.
Course instructions!

And here we go!
This course was on an Army base.  A beautiful setting!

I caught up with Ryland thanks to golf carts! Both boys are great golfers.

Back to Easton.  I really loved the sportsmanship the kids showed. They always encouraged each other no matter what happened.

Done for the day!  Super golfers for sure!
Wow oh wow!  The Garden of the Gods was a stop we made before we headed back to Aurora. Easton and Mark went home and Keri, Ryland and I stopped to take a look at the magnificent rock formations at the Garden of the Gods.
Pictures can't really show the true beauty of the rock formations!

Ryland holding the rocks apart!

Lots of different minerals in this giant rock!  Lots of different colors.

We had a visitor on our hike!

Hold those rocks apart Superman!
We thought a person in the picture might show how huge these rocks are.

Again taking care of the rocks.
I am so glad we stopped here.  It was pretty amazing!  God's creation always makes me feel overwhelmed by His greatness and how much He loves us.  He created all of this just for us!
