Finally, it finally happened. After being cancelled three times because of rain the game against Lakeside was played. It was still on the cool side but there was sun and no rain! Here we go.
Paige pitches every game. She does a great job.
This is our centerfielder. Yes, she is ours! Layne.

And now we have Layne. I decided to take a different position on the opposite side of the field to get better pictures of Layne. It is all about the pictures you know. HA!
Layne didn't get a hit her first time up but she looks good!

There was a pause in the action, pitching change. The outfielders had a conference. Wonder what they were talking about. I am sure it was softball! Maybe, maybe not.

Paige is up now and boy did she get a hit.

Layne is coming home and the rest of the girls are headed out for the celebration for Paige.

That does it, another game in the books. The outcome wasn't what the girls were hoping for but they are headed into the district playoffs. They will shine!
