Here we are...The Elite Athletes Only Different.  Heading to Coeur d Alene and it is pretty much raining.  Sometimes hard sometimes sprinkles.  It's cold, in the 30's as were were driving. There was already talk about taking an "alternate route".  Not sure who started that conversation.  They are naughty.  It could have been me, maybe.

Love this picture with Mickey.  I am so blessed to have such wonderful friends.  I don't really know Mickey so he doesn't count as a great friend.  Michelle looks so cute next to Freida, heads together.

 Dave was our official photographer.
This is for you Deanna.  Last year at this event Deanna got carted off in one of these because of a knee injury.  You can look back to last year's blog post and see her in the ambulance.  We all visited her at the hospital.
Cold and rainy makes for staying inside until the event starts.
 What's an anteroom?
Ah yes, umbrellas.  We did the coat and hat thing.  No umbrellas!
The lake.  It was a little difficult to take pictures of the beautiful scenery and the beautiful homes.  Wet camera and wet faces!
 Just another reminder of Deanna!
The turn around picture.  We are on our way back.  Thank goodness!  Brrrr.  Still cold and now cold and wet.

A tradition has started.  Year two of taking a picture of this sign.  The sign makes sense to me!

This man was really into his sideline job.  On the way by the first time he said he had coffee and donuts.  I asked where they were and he said they ate all of them.  On the way back to the finish line this umbrella had magical powers.  It would speed you up if you walked under it.  I think he really believed it because he kept saying what a blessing it was.
The runner of the group, Freida.  Done in 45 minutes.  Nice job Freida!
Freida came back to join us.  She was trying to take a picture here but her phone was loaded with pictures.  Dave, our official photographer picked up the slack.
We did not plan the blue but we look good.  Bonnie has blue on under her red.  She just did a half marathon in Hawaii.  She had her half marathon shirt on!
Finally we get to leave the rain and go to the bakery for some great coffee and food.

Dave you aren't fooling anyone we can see that eye poking out from behind your wife.
Best coffee I have ever had at this place.  It is from Costa Rica and it is called Umbria.  I want some for my home coffee.
Another great event with the EAOD.  I am so blessed to have such good friends.  Really, really good friends are hard to come by and I have a bunch.  Love you all!
