The Road Trip July 2014, 25 Hours Straight Through!

New adventures and a changed life.  The house is packed up!  The precious memories and the love still remain it the heart forever.  Here we go!  Driving from Southern California to Spokane!

All packed up and neither of us had pulled a U Haul before.  Turns out it wasn't hard at all.  The first adventure of the day was getting up Patti's driveway.  Steep and there would be no stopping to get on the road.  Had to hold any traffic on the street so Patti didn't have to stop.  Lucky, it was easy. There was no traffic! Whew!
 The view!
I have heard a lot about the leather seats in Patti's car so I am documenting them here!

 Here we go!
I am not sure where this picture fits in the scheme of things but I had to take a picture of the traffic!  Unreal!
Home for me!  This is where I got off the freeway to go home in CA!
Dodger stadium!  If there was a game I think I would have stopped.
Some call it haze.  I call it smog!
This is the Discovery rocket!
We saw this view for hours and hours!  AHHHHHH!  And hours! This stretch of highway is called the Grapevine in CA.  It goes on and on twisting and turning. After the Grapevine was finished the view was still the same.
None of these in Spokane! Oil wells!
 Crops!
We stopped for lunch here and took a picture of the place.  We ended up eating down the road but we thought this was the spot so we took a picture.  Oh well.
 Mt. Shasta!

 Mt. Shasta
Some beautiful pictures Patti took with her cell phone!

The rig!  The picture taking stopped because it got dark and we ran out of energy for picture taking.  25 hours is a long time on the road but we did it!  Team Work!!!
On an end note!  Patti's new favorite type of taxi viewed at LAX!
