Time flies is something we say a lot but when you see your first grandchild heading to high school it is so true! Layne and dresses didn't mix much just like her mom was when she was promoted from 8th grade to high school. Kristin didn't wear dresses and they had to wear dresses at her promotion. It was a big deal. Layne is adorable in hers!
Layne was the secretary of her class. She stood up to be recognized.
Then the speech! Every class officer said a little.
We are all so proud of her!
She also had a 4.0 grade average and was recognized with others for that.
And now the promotion certificate.
Let the fun begin! Kristin and Jennifer were friends all through school. They are adults now of course. Now their children are going to school together. Layne and Ella.

It is really precious to see our children grow and raise their own children. Justin and Kristin are great parents. We are so proud of all Layne accomplished in middle school. Let God take the lead Layne as you head to high school. We are so proud of you!
